Airport Movement Area (CH.III.A.K2)
The movement area is the portion of an airport comprising runways, taxiways, and other areas used for taxiing, takeoff, and landing of aircraft, excluding ramps and parking areas. Runway and Taxiway Signs

Distractions, Task Prioritization, Loss of Situational Awareness, Disorientation (CH.III.A.R4)
Commercial operations involve higher task saturation:

Distraction sources: Passenger questions, ATC frequency congestion, cockpit alerts, other traffic, commercial pressure to expedite. As commercial pilot, you must compartmentalize distractions—handle radio calls first, passenger questions later.

Task prioritization: “Aviate, Navigate, Communicate” applies on ground too: Control helicopter, follow taxi clearance, then handle radios. If ATC issues complex clearance while taxiing, stop helicopter, copy clearance, read back, then resume taxi.

Situational awareness loss: Most common during complex taxi instructions at unfamiliar airports. Symptoms: uncertainty about current location, unable to find next turn, heading wrong direction on taxiway. Runway incursions are the most critical surface risk:
